Mimiko, Fayose, others abstain from PDP govs meeting with Jonathan

The following PDP governors have been reportedly absent at a meeting between President Jonathan and the PDP governors in Abuja: Olusegun Mimiko of Ondo, his Ekiti state counterpart, Ayodele Fayose as well as Governors Sule Lamido of Jigawa, Isa Yuguda, Babangida Aliyu, Gabriel Suswam and Ibrahim Shema.



At about 4:45pm, the PDP Governors' Forum Chairman and Akwa Ibom State Governor Godswill Akpabio led his members to the meeting holding at the State House.

Fayose is the only absent governor who delivered his state to Jonathan in the Saturday's presidential election.

But Lamido, Yuguda, Aliyu, Shema and Suswam, who lost their states didn't also make it in their senatorial elections.
